Letter from the Chairman The establishment of Youssef Allam      The establishment of Youssef Allam & Co. in 1948 marked a new era in Egypt's paper trading industry. The company penetrated an entirely foreign dominated market and became the first Egyptian company to engage in the importation and local marketing of paper. Less than two decades later, with the establishment of Allam's Papyrus Factory for Paper Converting, Youssef Allam & Co. had positioned itself as the largest paper trader in both Egypt and the Middle East.       Youssef Allam & Co. introduced a variety of modern technologies and new printing processes in Egypt, setting itself apart from other equipment suppliers in the printing field. As time went on, the company expanded and took on challenges in other fields such as Information Technology, Medical Services, Consumables, Construction & Development, and more.       Youssef Allam & Co. is today the only Egyptian company operating in Egypt that can fully meet the needs of integrated printing projects without foreign assistance.
